Producer. Songwriter. Bassist.

Hi, thanks for stopping by

If you’re here, you’re likely a creative—an artist looking for a producer to bring your next single to life, a manager seeking the right bassist for an artist you represent, or someone simply curious about what I do.

I’m Ryan Ladd—a bassist, producer, and songwriter who helps artists create authentic, high-quality music that truly represents them. I believe in serving the song and collaborating closely with artists to ensure their vision is fully realized.

My journey started in fourth grade when I picked up my dad’s oversized bass and learned my first riff. A few months later, I started a band with my best friends, and I’ve been making music ever since. That passion has led me to produce music that has been picked up by top editorial playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon, perform on stages like Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Firefly, and tour as a bassist for Grammy-winning artist David Phelps.

At Sound Harbor, my home studio, I spend most days producing, recording, and playing bass on tracks for artists around the world. Whether you need a producer to refine your sound or a session bassist to add depth to your record, I’d love to help.

Let’s make something great together. Check out my work below, and reach out to start your next project.

“Ryan and I produced my own records and other people’s records and every time, the gift that stood out to me the most is what Ryan lives and breathes - he has an innate ability to facilitate a joyful and safe place for the artist.
